Barb Campbell
Palgrave, Ontario
IT Consultant
Captain
and Navigator (she drew the short straw!)
"Adventure"
background: 20 years of wilderness tripping by foot, kayak,
cross-country ski, snowshoe and canoe in Nunavut, Greenland, Iceland,
Nepal, Australia, and a bunch of places in between
"Racing"
background: Virtually none until starting AR in late 2002 (and loving
it)
Barb
was the female North American Rogaine champion for 2005.

Richard Ehrlich
Palgrave, Ontario
Dentist
Team
Canoe Leader and eBay Specialist.
Richard
is in charge of towing, taking extra weight in his pack, and running
with a canoe on his head. He's the only one in Canada crazy enough to
race on a 'bent (recumbent) mountain bike. Yes, he can do singletrack! See the article here.
Background
includes AR, Ski Marathons (CSM Gold) and about 30
years of wilderness tripping by ski, boat and boot, most of it with his
wife, Barb.

Paul Hingorani
Bolton, Ontario
Management Consultant
Fearless
Team Bike Leader and Back-up Navigator
Known
for his impressive, kamikaze biking style, muddy clothing and
bizarre-story injuries, Paul was shot in revenge by his own bike. (Ask
him.)
Background
includes biking, canoeing, backpacking, kayaking and running after 3
speedy daughters under the age of six.

Ming
Wong
Toronto,
Ontario
IT
Director
Minister
of the Interior and Procurement
Ming
is famous for his frequent and productive trips to Running Free, Coast
Mountain Sports and MEC. He can find anything on sale - and can't pass
up a bargain even if he already owns two of the same item. During
races, he's responsible
for team well-being - making sure that we're eating, drinking and
pacing ourselves.
Non-shopping
activities include mountain biking, dragon boat racing, running (former
marathoner), snowboarding and cross-county skiing.

Wayne Cassidy
Vaughan Ontario
Financial Analyst
Official Team Gazelle
We borrowed Wayne from Team Hunger, at least until he heads off for
Tadjikistan.
He is in charge of being fleet of foot, and has an amazing talent for
good cheer even when up to his neck in swamps in the middle of the
night.
He also is able to eat an entire pizza while biking.
Wayne's been on the podium every race with the Tree Huggers so far,
which is good for all of us.

Jamie Follas
Guelph Ontario
Mechanical Genius
Jamie's another short
fast vegetarian, who we borrowed from team Constremely Exfused. In
addition
to being a podium-level ultra runner, mountain biker and former pro
telemark racer, Jamie can fix or fiddle
absolutely anything.
Watch out for his rocket-propelled sprints
off the line! He probably gets this speed from training the next
generation of Flying Follases, 7 Year-old Skye.

Angus Doughty
Bolton Ontario
High School Teacher
Team Horsepower Specialist
Angus started
adventure racing in 2007, but with his background in wilderness travel,
XC ski coaching and triathlons, he was born for AR. He's
pretty handy with a paddle, under a canoe or at the front of a tow
rope. He also shows up with the coveted L-D cookies every once in
awhile!

Nigel
Hudson
Bolton, Ontario
Chiropractor
Sports
Injury Specialist, Brawn and Back-up Navigator
Regularly
racing as the Captain of Team Magnetically Challenged, Nigel brings a
wealth of experience (and his tow line) to the Tree Huggers. He's the
first Tree Hugger over 5'8" and has never been seen to use his small
chain ring. He has to fix our knees after every race anyway, so it will
be more efficient to come along and watch us get injured firsthand.
